About North Side Security
Protection That Works. Service That Lasts.
Who We Are
North Side Security is a locally owned Perth security company specialising in residential and light commercial security installations across Perth's northern suburbs. We're not a franchise or a call centre — we're local technicians who install, configure, and support every system ourselves.
Our Approach
We believe in recommending the minimum system required to achieve real protection — nothing more, nothing less. Too many security companies rush installs, use cheap hardware, and disappear when you need support. We do the opposite: clean installs, quality equipment, and ongoing local support from the technician who knows your system.
WA Police Licensed · Licence #85743
Security Agent Licence issued by WA Police. We operate legally and professionally under the Security and Related Activities (Control) Act.
Fully Insured
Public liability insurance covers every installation. Your property and our workmanship are protected.
Hikvision Certified Security Associate (HCSA-SMB)
Jake holds the Hikvision Certified Security Associate (HCSA-SMB) certification, valid to May 2028. This means every system we install is configured to manufacturer standards by a factory-certified technician — not just someone who watched a YouTube video.
Cert No. HCSA-052026-0061-04-3961 · Valid to May 2028
Service Area
We cover Perth's northern suburbs — Joondalup, Wanneroo, and surrounding areas north of the Swan River. If you're in the northern corridor, we're your local team.

“I can't thank Jake and Lockie from North Side Security enough for the outstanding service they have provided. From my experience they have been professional, approachable, and genuinely care about the people they're protecting. They have gone above and beyond to make me feel safe and respected, and it's clear they take great pride in what they do. It's reassuring to know I can rely on such a dedicated company. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for security professionals they can truly trust. Thank you all for your hard work and commitment!”
“Jake and Lachie presented in a professional and friendly manner and answered many questions and explained the cctv system clearly ( even when asked the same questions 😀) The instal was clean and the follow up on how to use the system was clearly outlined! We definitely recommend using them .. they are a young developing business and are potentially more customer focussed than existing bigger cctv installers. We wish them good luck in the future!”
“I recently had my security system installed by Jake from Northside Security and I couldn’t be happier with the experience. Jake was professional, friendly and incredibly knowledgeable. He took time to explain everything clearly and made sure I felt confident using the system before he left. The installation was smooth, efficient, and done to a very high standard. I highly recommend Jake and the team at Northside Security!”
