How The Rebate Works
Three steps. You apply; we quote and install.

Get your CCTV quote
We assess your premises and prepare a quote listing the equipment, installation cost, system specifications and our installer licence details — what the pre-approval application asks for.
- 2
Apply for SBDC pre-approval
You submit your application directly to the Small Business Development Corporation — installers aren't allowed to lodge it for you. Applications open Monday 19 October 2026. Eligibility and approval are decided by the SBDC.
- 3
We install your system
Once you have pre-approval, we install within your 60-day window — before open or after close if you need — and give you the tax invoice with the system specs for your rebate claim.

What it actually costs your business
Shown ex GST because that's how the program calculates the rebate. You pay our invoice in full; if your claim is approved, the SBDC pays the rebate to your business bank account. The rebate is 50% of the ex-GST system cost, capped at $2,000, and the SBDC determines the final amount. You must be GST-registered to qualify — ask your accountant about claiming the GST and how the rebate is treated for tax.

⚠️ Do not install before pre-approval
The SBDC will not pay a rebate on a system installed before you receive their pre-approval email. Incomplete applications don't join the queue. Get your quote, landlord consent and a current shopfront photo sorted before 19 October, and you can submit on day one.
Your business
- Fewer than 20 staff by headcount — full-time, part-time and casual (owners and contractors not counted)
- Retail or customer-facing, with a shopfront or service location in WA
- Active ABN and registered for GST
- Not part of a group with 20 or more staff in total
Your CCTV system
- A new system, or an upgrade to your existing one
- Hard-wired — wireless systems aren't eligible
- 5MP+ on every camera, with one covering the entrance and point of sale
- 3TB+ recorder, night recording, time and date stamp, USB export
Before and after install
- SBDC pre-approval before anything is installed
- Written consent from your landlord or agent if you lease
- Register on Cam-Map WA and provide footage to WA Police on request
- Signs at every entrance, and staff told about the cameras in writing
Warehouses, trade-only and business-to-business sites generally won't fit — the program is for businesses serving the public. We'll still quote you; there just won't be a rebate.

We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or acting on behalf of the Small Business Development Corporation (SBDC) or Crime Stoppers WA. The Small Business Resilience Program: CCTV Rebate is administered by the SBDC, which assesses all applications and pays any rebate to the applicant business. Eligibility is determined by the SBDC, not by us, and approval is not guaranteed — funding is limited ($1.15 million statewide). Applications open 19 October 2026 (WA Government media statement, 6 October 2026) and the round closes when the funding target is reached. The rebate is up to 50% of the cost of an eligible CCTV system excluding GST, capped at $2,000, one application per property. Pre-approval must be received before installation. Applications can only be lodged by the business. Recipients must register the system on WA Police Cam-Map WA and provide footage to WA Police on request.
