What it actually costs you
You pay us the full price. The City of Stirling pays the rebate directly to you by bank transfer after installation, once your claim is approved. The rebate is 30% of professionally installed cost capped at $500 — the cap is reached at about $1,667 of spend, so every package above qualifies for the full amount. The $500 cap applies per property across all claims combined, which is why a CCTV and alarm bundle uses it more efficiently than a camera-only job. Eligibility is determined by the City, not by us.

The Safer Suburbs Rebate is administered by the City of Stirling, which assesses all applications and pays any rebate directly to the applicant by bank transfer. Eligibility is determined by the City, not by us, and approval is not guaranteed. The rebate is 30% of eligible professionally installed costs (20% for self-installed equipment), capped at $500 per property and per person across all claims combined, with a $200 minimum spend on CCTV and home alarm items. Only items purchased after 1 April 2025 are eligible. Renters and strata residents must obtain owner or strata approval before purchase or installation.
